Randy,

I sure did.  However in the "I'm planning while everyone else is schlogging" dept., you seemed to excel on your Start/8.5.  I'm envious.

I was till I saw Scott Spreen almost pull off a planing tack and Chris Campbell do something that I couldn't even figure out what it was.  Flip was planing on a board that wouldn't float him and Chris P. doinng sail tricks.

All I learned to do was sail back without a fin.  Note to self: fin screw is important item to check before going out.  Note to others, if you do a body drag, you can go reasonably across the wind instead of skimming off downwind.

I thought it was a good day.  I have video to prove it.  I originally rigged my 6.6 but immediately re-rigged to a 7.5 anticipating those 25 to 35 and higher gusts that were forcast.
